Overview
The institute HR Club has been formulated to organize and conduct various programs that enable the students to understand the basic concepts of HR from a practical perspective. Upon attending the various programs the students will also be able to get a basic understanding about the trends in HR. Most of the sessions organized by the HR Club facilitate interaction between the resource and the participants. This helps them to relate the theoretical inputs imbibed from the classroom to that of the actual practices in Industry providing beyond the classroom experience.
As a part of the educational process, the HR club plays a major role in fostering student creativity. We believe that all students are potential creators and should be encouraged and guided to develop their creative abilities. The clubs serve as a fertile ground for the development of creative work as they are subject to minimum authoritarian requirements of the curricula or textbooks. Moreover, the work in the clubs provides for a more intimate and friendly relationship between the coordinators and the students, the students feel free and are more active in the organization and implementation of club activities, and they also learn without fear of mistakes or grading.
The HR club acts as a platform to link the institute to the industry through various professional associations like NIPM, Smriti Alumni Network etc. Tying up with various professional associations, the club organizes events in the campus which brings in value addition to the students We will organize workshops, seminars, and events featuring industry experts, giving us the opportunity to gain real-world perspectives and practical knowledge.
Networking is a crucial aspect of any profession. The HR Club will serve as a networking hub, connecting students with professionals, alumni, and fellow students who share a passion for HR. Through these connections, we hope to bridge the gap between academia and industry; creating opportunities for internships, mentorships, and collaboration on various projects. We aspire to engage in activities that contribute positively to society, aligning with the ethical and responsible aspects of human resources.
In essence, our HR Club is not just about learning the theories and principles of HR; it’s about applying them in the real world, forging connections, and making a positive impact on both our academic journey and the community around us.
