Management Development Program on Effective Selling of Automotive Products

MDP on ‘effective selling of automotive products’ targeted among sales executives and sale managers working with automobile sector. The program was structured with soft skill training, case studies, role plays and practical simulations to create basic selling skills everyone needs in order to be more successful. The aim of this program was create the participants with a full understanding of their day-to-day activities and responsibilities, as well as a clear vision of the process of advancement within the Industry. Upon completion of training, the participants should be fully confident in their ability to break the ice with new clients, build a solid business relationship with them, convince them of the value of the product and persuade them to purchase it.

The program was conducted at PTA hall of TKMCE on 10th November 2016. The participants were welcomed by Prof. Siddiq Musaliar, Asst. Professor (marketing). Dr.A.Viswanathan , Director-TIM presided over the function and delivered presidential address. The first technical session was handled by Mr. Faisal Subaid, General Manager, Pinnacle motors. His session gave an insight in to the challenges faced by an automobile sales consultant in the present scenario. The second technical session was handled by Prof. Anju.A. She discussed on various methods for shaping interactive skills for sales professionals.  In the third technical session Dr. Vinith Kumar Nair gave an insight on the topic ‘understanding customer and enacting selling skills’.  Dr. Aravind.M, Asst. Professor (Finance) proposed vote of thanks.
