Guest talk/ interactive session organized by Corporate Relations Committee on ‘ Intricacies in Managing Hospitals’

Corporate Relations Committee, TIM organized a guest talk/interactive session on 23rd March 2013 at TIM Seminar Hall. The Guests for the day were Dr. R. Padmakumar- Medical Director – Sunrise Group of Hospitals, Ms. Parveen Hafeez Managing Director – Sunrise Hospital & Mr. A. Mohammed Riaz Asst. General Manager Corporate Relations-Sunrise Hospital. Dr. R. Padmakumar is a Senior Consultant Laparoscopic Bariatric & Metabolic Surgeon -Sunrise Group of Hospitals-Kochi, Visiting Specialist Surgeon International Modern Hospital- Dubai. He was selected in the list of “100 most powerful Indians in the Gulf” among 40 lakhs Indians. He is also a faculty-Association of Surgeons of India (ASI), surgical faculty – University of Seychelles – American Institute of Medicine & Association of Minimal Access Surgeons of India (AMASI) etc. Ms. Parveen Hafeez is also the Managing Partner of Medlace Disposables & IWARE Solutions-(software Development Company – Info Park, Kochi and Dubai). She was the Founder Chairperson of Ladies Forum of Kerala Chamber of Commerce & Industry. She is the Executive committee Member of Kerala Management Association and also in the Advisory Board of Kerala Financial Corporation. The Session commenced at 11:45 A.M with a presidential address by the Prof. Dr. A.Viswanathan, followed by the Guest talk. The Topic of the session was ‘Intricacies in managing Hospitals. The session was interactive, knowledgeable and informative. The guest also ensured Project opportunities for the S4 Participants. The session concluded at 01:30 P.M with the vote of thanks. The guest was felicitated by the Director with the memento. Prof. P.Nizzar-Dean & other faculty members were present for the programme. Both S2 & S4 participants participated in the programme.
